Privacy Policy — Loose Lips
Last updated: 26 September 2026
The short version
Loose Lips does not collect anything. It has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no server. Your photos and everything read out of them stay on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. We do not collect, receive, store, sell or share any personal data, usage data or device identifier. There is no sign-in, and the app does not build a profile of you.
Your photos
Photos and videos you pick are read on your device, in memory, to produce the report and the clean copy. They are never uploaded. The app keeps no history of what you opened, and it never modifies your original file.
If you choose Save, iOS asks for add-only access to your photo library so the clean copy can be written next to the original. That permission does not let the app read your library, and it is the only permission the app ever requests.
The network
The app makes no network requests of its own. The single exception is the map preview on the Where card: if — and only if — you tap it, Apple Maps loads map tiles, which means Apple receives that request under Apple’s privacy policy. The screen says so before you tap. Nothing is sent before that.
Purchases
Loose Lips is a one-time paid app with no in-app purchases and no subscription. The purchase is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Because the app collects nothing, we do not expect material changes.
