Springback
Conduit bending marks, recalculated from the bend you actually made.
What it does
Springback lays out numbered marks for conduit bends, read from one end of the pipe, and lets you open Show the math to see how each one was worked out.
After you bend, tap I bent it and enter two tape readings a known distance apart on the bent leg. For supported offset and saddle workflows, Springback recalculates the remaining marks from what you measured and shows the limits of that correction. Provisional marks look different from determined ones, so you can tell which is which.
You keep your own bender profiles on the phone, with the take-up and deduct you entered from your tool or your own measurements.
What it does not claim
- Correction applies to offsets and saddles. It does not determine a unique correction for every bend type.
- Stub-up and back-to-back follow bounded procedures. Segmented 90° bends get angle bookkeeping only, not a numerical layout. Kick is not solved numerically.
- The calculations come from a geometric model and published tables. That is not physical validation: no physical accuracy, tolerance, universal tool fit or superiority over any other app is claimed.
- Bender profiles you enter are your numbers and are not verified by the app.

Common questions
Does it need a connection?
No. Calculations run on the phone and work in airplane mode. Only the links to this page, the privacy policy and the manufacturer instructions open in your browser and need a connection.
Where do the take-up and deduct numbers come from?
From you. Enter them from your bender’s casting or from your own measurements. The app shows where each number came from and marks user-entered profiles as unverified.
Why didn’t my measurement change the marks?
If the difference you measured is within what a tape reading can establish, Springback says so instead of promising an improvement it cannot back up.
