Privacy Policy — Springback
Last updated: 1 October 2026
The short version
Springback does not collect anything. It has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no server. Your bender profiles, measurements and saved work stay on your phone.
What we collect
Nothing. We do not collect, receive, store, sell or share any personal data, usage data or device identifier. There is no sign-in, and the app does not build a profile of you.
What stays on your phone
Bender profiles you enter, the bends you are working on, the measurements you record and your display preferences are saved in the app’s own storage on your device so you can come back to them. They are never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes them.
The app asks for no permissions: no location, camera, photos, contacts or notifications.
The network
The app makes no network requests of its own, and every calculation works offline. Three links open in your browser if you tap them — the support page, this policy, and a bender manufacturer’s published instructions on a third-party site. What those sites receive is governed by their own policies. Nothing is sent unless you tap.
Purchases
Springback has no in-app purchases and no subscription. Any purchase is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Because the app collects nothing, we do not expect material changes.
